Just checked my blackberry and my email addresses have been hacked overnight.

Somebody posing as me has managed to get into my email address, change the password and has been sending out emails to people claiming to be me, asking them to send tunes.

DO NOT SEND TUNES OR REPLY TO

until i gain access to them again.

Sorry to hear this. You've had some serious bad karma on the internet biz with the album leak way back and now this.

Hope the weasel(s) behind this caper get what's coming to them.

i'm about 95% certain that he or she that tried this stunt is now reading this thread too. out to the bullshitters out there, that try to do fast ones like this to weasel their way in. you'll never get there.

Same thing happened to Gemmy last week, and I hear that others in the scene have been targeted. Maybe some producers should think about making their passwords a little bit more secure? (This isn't a bite, by the way. Just saying that if you haven't been hit yet, I'd at least take some precautions)

and obviously for the passwords, no names or words in any dictionaries, thesaurus's, etc. thats the first thing they try.

they probably did it through the "Forgotten your password?" security questions like they did with Sarah Palin
