Our love for hip hop injected with Funck serum finds a new level in this Dark Matter Instrumentals release. Built on a foundation of the old skool flavors, we glitch the system into our own form, giving voice to a wide range of sonic environments through the KarmaFilter with doses of acid, electro, grime, idm, funk, jazz and more.

The amazing album art by Menno Fokma was graciously supplied by him for this release as well as the full spread for the original 2009 cd/vinyl release on Porter Records. Highly recommended you check their respective bodies of work through the links. DJ Frankie Boxcutta supplies scratches for the opener and Cor Bolten joins us once again on Lock Stock, bringing the unique to a new zone.

Wax junkies take note: Sept 2010 will see an exclusive instrumentals release on vinyl from Porter records. Those will be full remixes of tracks from this edition.
If these are anything like the instrumentals for Corrupt Data I'll be lovin this. I'm not really into the Shadow Huntaz on vocals, but damn, Funckarma make some interesting and bangin beats when they do hip-hop.
