If this comes up is there any way at all to recover the data with something? Its the 2nd disk in the set and i'm using an esi 4000.
I found something about recovering stuff on an atari but nothing else.
Has this happened and can anything be done about it?
I hope someone can help on this!!

crc means you're fooked 99 percent of the time ...
try to make an image from it and clone it to another disk ...
there are tools for that ... linuc can do that standard ...
sectorbased copying is what you need ...

cheers panzer, i got ANALYZER for RECOVER Floppy Pro Version 0.3 but it doesn't look like it can help. i checked a disc that worked and i was almost instant at finding the structure where as the disc in question took about an hour to come up with a screen asking for the volume number and i wasn't able to input anything.
