http://www.laplaquetournante.com is an online record shop specializing in vinyls: dubstep, breaks, drum and bass, jungle, acid, hardtek/tribe, techno and more. Fresh news but also collectors and second-hands, with an extremely selective catalog, agressively priced.

Our focus is to provide our customers with a very efficient website, stripped down to what really matters: finding killer music rapidly and easily. To that end, we have implemented a very powerful yet easy to use search engine with some quite unique features:

- Find all records featuring a given artist... including records released under his/her aliases or released by groups he or she belongs to.
- Find all records released by a given label... including the ones released by a sublabel or parent label.
- In the mood for some acid jungle: just click "acid" in the genre box, then re-filter with "jungle" and bingo. And yes, it works the other way around too: click "jungle" first then re-filter with "acid" and you'll get the same results.
- Never miss a record that's too hybrid to fit in a single crate: if a-side is the original hip-hop version and b-side is the dubstep remix, then it'll be in the hip-hop list as well as in the dubstep one (tip: genres at tagged at track level, so it'll work too for a track that starts hip-hop then goes drum & bass).
- Want to cross over genres to come up with something a bit more eclectic for your next DJ set: try our tempo/bpm search.
