Next month's FREE Scion House Party. Now this is a show I'm really excited for. Hopefully less moshing and fist fights this time since Ikonika and Actress' music don't really go with that kinda stuff.

I always feel so torn about these shows cause on one hand they're free and have BOOOOMB line ups every time but on the other hand I always here about how the crowds it draws are just no good. Lately when there's moshing it just COMPLETELY kills the mood for me. I used to not mind so much but gah. Plus fist fights? Dubstep can be so frustrating with the assholes it draws.

We need less aggression in the scene.

theres tends to be high levels of testosterone in some sets at scion, but it has good moments. plus its ikonika! doubt people would be moshin to an ikonika set, and I dont think id miss it either way

if the lineup is good enough, i can deal with as shitty a crowd as there is.

yeah my hope for this show really is the crowd is better... i left at the beginning of 16-bits set a few months ago (i don't like his music anyway so it wasn't a big deal) but the crowd during Nero was so horrible i couldn't stand it which was real disappointing. some drunk bro kept pushing me and looked like he wanted to start a fight so i rounded up my friends and just decided to leave at one point... total bummer

i'm in LA next week for work (from the UK) and well tempted by this. forgive my cluelessness but is it easy to get back to downtown at 2am?

there is pretty much no traffic at that hour, you should be fine

thanks man, not gonna have a car unfortunately so will be relying on cabs or buses I know from experience you guys don't really do public transport! i'm guessing a pricey cab is prob my best bet. Might try and check out Low End Theory too - bit closer to where i'm staying.

yeah man, take a cab, but you should check out scion since its free, you can spend your money on a cab.

and the lineup is too much

make sure you RSVP on the link so it's free! and try to arrive early because the venue gets packed fast!
try n meet up with some of us n we could help you get to where you need to get, and Low End is a great choice as well.

Is this all ages? Flying over to the states for a month long holiday from NZ and will be in LA when this is on, but I turn 21 on the day I get home!

the vibes are sorta mixed. its like 35 percent aggro, homophobe. moshing bros, 55% dime piece females, and 10% percent chilled vibes

Ha.. that's a ratio I can deal with. Whats the I-5 like around that time? Think it might be a shit of a commute from anaheim..
