Tell me about it, Im from wellington (NZ) and i find myself wondering how the hell i managed to move to the one place with a serious lack of dubstep gigs. My home town has a better heartbeat than this place!

gold coast isn't really the biggest of places ... brisbane have monthly(ish) gigs, often day parties on saturday, and byron bay have some on a weeknight as well (wed or thurs?). of course, you could always fly down to melbourne for too much!, as we clearly have the best parties in aus/nz/oceania.

yeah dank morais and kim delahaye do most of the nights/days up there I think, but yeah, there wouldn't be too much happening on the gold coast, horrible clubs there
