hmmm...i had never thought of that. prolly cuz the US started on the East Coast and spread westward i would imagine. so midwest...middle of the trip west...perhaps? never contemplated that one...

Im from GB originally (GO! Pack! GO! and all that) I would love to come home and play some dubstep for the midwest homies! Looked like Milwaukee had an event or two last year as well as a few in Chitown... Denver reppin too! Whatup? I used to live out there and I got a place to stay in Breck if I got a reason to come out... Maybe a midwest tour this summer... promoters hit me up, I could even get a few other homies from LA to join me for a dubstep tour and get you all two or three djs at once...

As for the term 'midwest'... It was my understanding that when the US was first settled the plains were as far as anyone had gotten at first, and the 'mid-west' was originally refered to as the 'west', until they found the west coast and realized that their original 'west' was only about half the way to the actual west....

minneapolis NEEDS a regular dubstep night... 9th Circle just doesn't cut it, and I'm too lazy to drive out to Chicago.
