Pendulum - Immersion

Post by Adam-Rockz » Sat May 22, 2010 10:37 pm

I heard before this album was released that there was gonna be a song that would show their take on dubstep and that song is 'Set Me on Fire' and i must say i'm very impressed. Wasn't over the top or 'filthy' which i personally thought it worked very well so good on them!

Overall, upon hearing the album one time over i am very impressed. A big step up from their last shameful album. Good on them for sticking true to wanting to experiment abit and trying something new out and the collaboration with In Flames worked superbly!

Anyway here is the dubstep track which is the 4th track in the latest album.

...says Mt Eden. Why don't you go jerk off to your youtube hits while at the same time keep looking for more songs to destroy (in the bad sense)

Pendulum turned shit as soon as In Silico came out. One of the worst albums i've ever heard.

Liking some of the tunes off the album, but this is just generic and boring over-hyped crap!

Pendulum got popular waaaa.

I never understand the backlash they got for this album. I mean have you heard 9000 Miles? Nah didn't think so.

But at the end of the day people hate the mainstream as soon as it's mainstream.

Each to their own I guess, ur loss.

It's not the fact that they're popular, it's the fact they make crap on purpose!

And I don't think 9000 Miles is anygood either :s Vault's my fave song by them by far (though maybe not their greatest showcase of what they can do)! I'd only heard it in raves and IT WAS FUCKING SICK :D

True true, they used to be incredible and then their label moulded them into some weird music band. Which obviously appeals to the mainstream, but they aren't making what they want to. Cheesy hooks, silly vocals and high pitch bass.

But who cares. They must be absolutely minting it!

Yes, as I have heard the album, repeatedly. I bought it on release day. Trying to like it and then being annoyed that they're no longer good anymore.
