This. It was kind of intriguing in the first one or two seasons but it just became too much bullshit to keep up with

the rabid fans look at the bad writing like it's some da vinci code
seriously people if it was meant to be a hint or something generally it's obvious
it;s not some spec of sand or writing on a piece of paper shown for half a second

So it turns out the island is real, and the side flashes they have been having is purgatory.

aye, i kinda like the ending. They could have gone very open ended and everyone would have just chalked it up to 'oh typical fucking lost episode' but they tied it off nicely.

Btw: for those who think it was purposely over complicated, fairly standard JJ Abrams and the writers he selects.

Alias was just as confusing at times and equally compelling. Undercovers will surely follow the same formula.

i thought it was fucking incredible! how it came full circle with Jack at the end was a beautiful scene

So can sum1 explain the whole series's underlying meaning in a nutshell....?

ive watched like 1 or 2 episodes

thoroughly enjoyed it. they weren't kiddin around when they said the finale would deal with the characters rather than the mysteries.
very little ended up getting explained, but it was a wicked resolution for most of the characters.

been thinking about the series as a whole for the past hour, listening to the "death is not final" remix by T++, good times !!

I stopped watching at the end of season 3 so now it's finished I can grab the box set.

O shit, utterly epic. watched every episode from day.
Great ending.

Gave up on this bollocks after the first two episodes. I can't believe anyone thought it was worth however many days of their life.
