I'm sure I'm gonna draw another blank with this - the new label 'NSA Dubs' (NSA pronounced un-sah) is going ahead and strictly plastic not download - I'm looking for tracks to sign. Demos, part-finished tunes, links, 128s will do (as you seem to be a suspicious bunch) - PM me - please check the mix at
http://i.mixcloud.com/CZUO to see if you fit.
Dark House / Grime / Grimey House / UKF / 2 Step / Dubstep (not heavy metal) / Whatever-U-Call-It / Future Beats - Join the dots...
If it swings, flexes or drops - PM me. No timewasters.

Damu, OK if it helps give people confidence...
I'm a producer/sound engineer/music lover from way back who is frustrated with the lack of cohesion in UK bass music - UKF captured my enthusiasm but for the lack of good business practice and a consistent brand/label to push it has left it floundering. I came up through the free-party scene of the early 90's (what I would called 'hardcore' and 'jungle' - reinforced/suburban base/flex etc.) - Goldie/Rob Playford/Doc Scott/Kemistry & Storm/Full (Circle) Cycle/V inspired me because they emphasised the music over 'bands', 'crews', vocalists, mcs and djs and they also emphasised cooperation and cohesion. UKG had all the promise of jungle/D&B but was blighted by bad business and subsequently wound up in the bargin bin - it took Neil from ShelfLife to get it and form Tempa in the same mould as good D&B labels. Producers/Composers are the driving force of this music, good releases should be celebrated and have a shelf-life of greater than one week - I want to give them (where needed) the space, support and advice to prosper and be profitable. The stance that Reinforced/Metalheadz/V took resulted in some of the best most focused music delivered on plastic. This label is about giving producers that focus - working with a label should result in better music. To be clear I'm not anti-DJ or anti-MC or anti-promoter - I'm pro-producer. Business-wise it needs to be sustainable but I'm not going to discuss my business model or financials in an open forum - needless to say it's funded and will be registered at company's house in due course.
I also strongly feel new music and the joy of discovery - established is good but new is vital to keep the music developing - you've got to take risks - Apple's Siegalizer is THE year zero record (no disrespect to Roska who is equally as important) but that record rewrote everything with its casual minimal production.
As for me, I'm personally bored with people banging on about how far back they go and what they've done. I was there I know - if you partied between 1994 - 2001 likelihood our paths have crossed already. I'm nominally based in London but I have a home in Flintshire, North Wales at the moment but I've lived in Essex, Kent, Brighton, Newcastle, Middlesbrough, all-over SE/NE London, South Wales, Wolverhampton, Luton/Dunstable... business is business I go where I need to.
I hope that answers the question? If you want to know more PM me.
