A question about Vinyl and slipmats

Post by Snowaert » Tue May 25, 2010 7:30 pm

Hi,

I wast just listening to a new vinyl, and when i was done, i took the record and the slipmats was stuck on the vinyl.
When i took the slipmat off my record, there was that sparkling sound like something eletric or something.

Did you guys ever had this before?
And could it harm the vinyl?

Cheers

It's a build up of static electricity. an anti-static brush will sort it out - and clean dirt off the surface of your records
