What Are The Best Beginner Cd Decks?

Post by Dee Jay Mee » Tue May 25, 2010 9:30 pm

Hey. I am looking to buy some cd decks. They need to be cd, as I cannot afford to keep buying vinyl, and I want to burn my own music too, but I need to know which ones are the best for a beginner. Obviously pioneer cdj's are the best, or denon, but I am extremely poor, and can only afford about 400 quid for the pair.
Preferable with mp3 functionality aswell.
I have looked at a few american audio and a few numarks, but I need to know if there are any others out there which are worth buying?
Help me PLEASE
Big Thanks
Jamie

It's worth holding out and saving for something that will do the job properly like pioneers to be fair..

save for a pair of cdj 400's at least and a cheap mixer to start off with. i recently purchased a pair of cdj 800's and a dmx09 mixer for £900 and am extremely happy with them.

OR buy some 1200/1210s in amazing condition from around £300 on ebay for the pair then get Serato Sl1 and you'll be happier than on cdjs and you can play vinyl ;)

save up for 2 cdj800 mk1s, they have all the features you will ever need
and if your playing out and the club has 1000s, it's an easy transfer as the feel is the same
i got two for 700, it's worth it
