My girlfriend introduced me to Caribou a couple of days ago. Annoyingly, these guys make what I have building towards for the last 4 years. I thought I was going somewhere unique! Par.
But: Caribou - Melody Day is utterly sick. 60's psyche rock / funk / soul driven madness.
(just one track from the magnificent "wild at heart" soundtrack)
and some more but with these three i was convinced to have found some music that will keep me influenced towards some other stuff

I've been getting into a fuckton of "nu disco"/French house/disco house/whatever lately.
It's gay as hell but 100% danceable and infectious imo.

Been into Blues for a long time now, but this guy blew me away when I saw him at Charlotte Blues in London last week!
Also purchased his latest album on wax, best 15 quid I've spent for ages!

Just discovered that Eminem is actually pretty good. I never used to like him that much but my mate has been convincing me that his old stuff is good.

Yeh, I know. That's why I haven't liked him before. I always thought his new stuff was shit.

Just been getting deeper into planet mu and warp's stuff really, away from dubbier kind of dubstep. Ikonika, eskmo, starkey, jahtari records, eprom, etc.
also...after hearing Eyesdown, I thought I recognised the name Bonobo....Raided my collection, to find an unopened CD I'd taken when I left working at Tru Thoughts
Might recognise from an advert back in the day (BT I think...)...But the whole Album is a gem!! So chuffed
