Internet withdrawal

Post by hayze99 » Sat May 29, 2010 12:31 am

So, my laptop broke about 3 weeks ago. Since then, I have found myself wanking to the 1inch screen of my fucking ipod, staring at the wall, and smoking a lot more ganj. I'm now typing on a netbook the size of a fucking ritz cracker.

The internet has taken us over...

Lost net for 2 weeks a few years ago. Was like torture at first, but I played some games and paid more attention to my books and actually ended up really enjoying the "time to myself". Because we're always suspended in a strange social situation online, where your "time alone" can be constantly interrupted by others, people who always have a presence of some kind by being on the other end of the interwebz - nearby, but at a distance, and at your convenience. So we seldom experience pure solitude.

Or maybe I'm just high.

Last year we all went to the south of France for 2 weeks with no internet. It was surprisingly bearable.

Although I did wonder why my eye was twitching for the duration of the time there.

I know what you mean bruva, i spend too much time pissing about on the net. But in saying that i went from jan07 to dec07 with no internet
coz my pc fucked up, was hard as fuck at first but like others have said i started doing loads more other things. Mixed more, went out a lot more, played ps2 n smoked a large amount of weed. Oh and i deffinatly went to bed a fucking lot earlier when i didn't have no internet.

or the use of paragraphs.
or sentences for that matter.
