completely defeats the purpose.

I don't see what's wrong with it being locked. It's just there to let people know that their questions have already been answered, and links them to threads that contain said answers.

It could be used as an ongoing discussion, to cover fine details which people will be too lazy to dig through the threads to find the answers too.

yeah, say i figured it out and wanted to post the massive patches for everyone to download.... now it's "illegal" to post them in their own thread and the one they're "supposed" to be posted to is locked. we tall did.

ANd really the threads in it, though very helpful, are vague.

By having it as a sticky, it would concentrate all those little individual conversations as one big epic mega thread, and the answers would get covered more.

Its really very silly, n I take it as a good sign rather of attempting to help, but sorta say 'dont ask this'

I'm indifferent to whether it's locked or unlocked but aren't there multiple instances within some of those threads where Datsik and Excision themselves are answering how to make these sounds? I'm sure I've them responding at least 4 or 5 times.

Because if people are too lazy to scroll through a thread full of links to other threads where the answers to their questions are located...

I don't know...seems wack as hell. if they want knowledge they'll be anxious to read all the info.
