He's not trying to be a douche bag, he's trying to help you by directing you to the right place.

Yes, this is the case. He isn't a douche, he is pointing you to the right place.

As you can imagine there are many folks like you just getting going, as such, this forum has created a dedicated section for folks in your position to get the feedback and help they need, and as such, minimize having an unending amount of threads like this one.

As a result, I think as you continue working, you will find this forum to be a wealth of knowledge and help with tons of amazing informative threads, filled w/ members with different advice, opinions and skills.

Welcome to the DSF!

EZ nuh,
I think if you treat people with respect you will find most on here are generally pretty nice. There reason there is a separate thread for this is if everyone posted their new tunes (or works in progress) in the main production forum, it would get really cluttered really fast. Simple as that.

bad form coming in with an attitude like that. here's my advice anyway: this song is sort of awful. make a song with the lfo off, with the filter just half open. write a bassline worth listening to, then go back and automate only where it will -add- something rhythmically. your wobbles in this are fighting what there is of a groove. and do not sample the jerky boys. ever.
clean it up, simplify it and try again. and dont be a cock. =)
