Getting my tracks mastered...

Post by [Sub]Bass » Tue Jun 08, 2010 5:26 pm

I'm working on a bit of an EP type project, mainly as part of a portfolio im trynna put together to get into a course. Anyway, Im putting my beats together and theyre coming along okay. at first I thought Id give mastering a go myself as it would look great if I did absolutely everything myself. After spending countless hours trying to get my beats sounding professional Im starting to think it may just be better to get someone to do it and learn the 'dark art' of mastering whilst on my course.

Does anyone know of a good place (on the internet if needed) that I can send my tracks to get mastered? Im looking for someone with a fair bit of experience in dubstep.

Thanks in advance
Sub.

Do not like that page layout. The mastering services, from what I've heard, are stellar however.

Bad design is bad design. I can't tell you how many people have had the same problem.

I've got to agree. Not to mention the fact that the links are relatively dark.

Text is low, closer to the image below it. The images are extremely noisy, masking the text. Not good to hide your links like that, especially in a nonstandard layout like that. BOO! hahaha.

New site (very light in tone btw!) is under development :)

FWIW we have had as many people say they like it as say they don't. Can't win!

Sorry - but no matter how "dark" or "understated" the link is... it is still pretty obvious.

PRICES.

It's not like it was done in one of those stupid Magic Eye pics or something.....

@Macc - dude, was just wandering it says £30 per track, but is that as in song, or track of audio? Im considering sending ma latest tune to you cause the demos on your website sound fucking awesome, but I was wandering if you worked by getting people to send each individual audio track, like one for bass, one for drums etc?? can defo afford £30 per tune, just not £30 per audio track, lol.
