Dope track!
What software are you using man?

Cubase with Hallion Battery, 2 Absynths, Albino, Oddessy, Junglist and Reaktor. Got some hardware going too. I’ve had to record a lot of these because of the CPU maxing out but it’s still bit confusing on the arrange page
So yea, I’m more looking at ways to improve it. Someone’s just suggested I play around with the bass nearer to the end/after main break and take out the strings in the middle breakdown and hold some suspense heh

great vocal sample yeah , nice & dark and great effects, all those breaks and stuff
sounds pretty fat
but i don't really like the main snare... thats not much of a helpful comment i know but i just prefer a different sound

Cheers, the snare is pretty high up, maybe I will change that. I’m thinking ive used too much of the vocal now, I'm going to drop some of that out and play around with the arrangement a little instead of making this tune sound like its built around the vocal

yeah - i liked this one! somehow, the vocal needs to be changed so that it fits better into overall sounding imho // perhaps, it's only on headphones!
love the mood and the broken steppa!

Nice track! The only thing is, when the bass drops, it sounds like it's pitched 1.5 steps higher than the strings... I like it better later on at about 3:27 when the bass comes in on the 1 at the same key as the strings. Just my opinion.

really like the vibe on this tune
here's my two cents: agree about droppin strings out in the breakdown, think it'd help.
i'm not sure about the vocal, i have an allergy to those kind of cheese speakin bits, mayb just me tho.
some really fuckin cool ideas there, i reckon u could make more of them by makin them more sparse, like that midbass wobbly distorted thing might hit harder if it was less constant.
drum and percussion stuff is awesome, i wouldnt touch that personally, propa steppin. keepit up

I’ve worked on this a little, reduced the vocal a little and added some edits.
It’s pretty much the same as the previous version only with subtle tweaks. I need to sleep on it I think, maybe drop the vocal out completely and come up with something else there on the middle break. Kinda feels like theres room ys thx for the help, some good advice on here. Should turn out a killa
Anyone know a good way of creating propper dub sounding delays, the ones which filter up. Im finding myself using automation and its driving me nuts

Yeah, definitely my favorite Aronofsky flick. I always meant to sample it, then someone beats me to it.
The production on this is really nice, btw.
