I've honestly never really rated Jakes ( ), always seemed to draw for the same sound palette, but this new release is sound really, really tasty. Dark and incredibly subby. Darqwan tune on the flip is just as wonderful too

Yeah I do prefer the Darqwan tune. Both tunes are fantastic though.

i dunno the darqwan is great but sounds a lot like his planet mu 12" which is no bad thing

the jakes snare is incredible...cant wait to hear it full quality..it bangs a punch..also this tune will go well with lots of tunes including matt u's chase pack and of course night

Seeing as it was coming out on tectonic i was pretty excited. Was let down when I heard the tunes though..

once again a quality tectonic-release. will be metaphorically bagged when it's available digitally.
