I get it. This is why Timbaland seems so blatantly arrogant about sampling / using whatever he wants with impunity because, in his mind, He created it all anyway...
I think his early stuff was pretty influential on dubstep among a lot of other shit. I am not sure if he is joking or his ego is really that huge either way he is getting a lot of publicity on boards such as this one. Best to ignore him like I ignore his music anymore. Can't deny some of his music of the late 90's tho.
Enjoying the wit and humor of the production board, that's all. I don't even go on the other boards.... I like it here too much. I mean, alpaca threads... common dude.
lol there are songs on the DOOM soundtrack that sound like dubstep....that was what, '95???
either way he didn't say he invented dubstep. his main point was that he was on a half time flex in the 90s and subsequently, over time some twists were put on it. people are just to anxious to go at the man side ways. obviously his music is bullshit now but still...
I mean it can't be too far of a stretch to say his 90s output influenced some early garage flexes.
