Brits and Americans alike, rejoice, for two comedy greats will be teaming up in the eighth season of HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm. According to the Hollywood Reporter, HBO officially confirmed that The Office's co-creator, Ricky Gervais, has been cast in a guest-starring role. Curb's creator and star, Larry David, has been characteristically elusive and thus has not yet announced what role Gervais will specifically be filling in David's TV alter ego's life.
Even still, the star is set to make a most likely quite memorable appearance later in the show's upcoming Season 8, and he will be playing himself. Look out for the season's premiere in 2011.
