Because there's lots of very creative activity in the space between (london pirate & global) house, uk funky, dubstep, kwaito and techno?

its all crossing over and merging together and its opened me up to house music i used to fink it was boring boom boom boom all the way through now im really starting to like it , why were on the subjects of forums i think we need a drum n bass one but the minimal side of things the autonomic non plus darkestral exit because id like to see what people are into , theres so many other artists doing it i wanna know if im missing out on anything or anyone

Because people don't just listen to dubstep and it adds diversity to the forum.

get loads of good music from there and lots of nice people that arent verging on spastic.

Dubsteps being open is why its been blowing up like it is. The genre has widespread appeal and is influenced by house, rap, jungle etc etc. There are already big jungle forums out there and i suspect a house forum is to fill in the hole and create a needed place where people can talk about house and even give artists a place to directly expose new fans to thier music ( a music that has a big influence over dubstep .) imo

Actually, it's there because the house forum has a section called dubstep.

It's obviously not intended for traditional house. It's house influenced bass music. A lot of UKF and 'future sounds.' You ain't gonna find people discussing Steve Angello and Deadmau5

If Deadmau5 is your idea of house music please throw yourself off the nearest cliff

Wobble is deadout, Housey/Funky/Technoey dubstep is where it's at and where it has been for some time. Future sounds innit.
