Help with rewiring fl studio into ableton

Hey guys I'm trying to follow this tutorial http://www.ableton.com/pages/rewire/fru ... s_studio_6 but live's in/out section is not there :?:

why not just use ableton?

Because Fl studio is alot easier to make beats on

in an audio track in ableton select to recieve audio from FL on channel 1/2. and so on for the rest of your FL channels.

oh and open ableton first and FL second

I know I'm not answering your question and I apologize, but I HIGHLY recommend getting to grips with Ableton. While you may be used to making beats in FL -- Ableton's drumrack and instrument/effect racks far exceed anything that FL is capable of doing.

without wanting to turn this into a "which DAW" thread...^this^ I used to use FL ... but find it alot more rewarding using drum racks/piano roll/audio for drums
