Logic 8 update to Logic 9 question

Post by a.paul » Fri Jun 18, 2010 5:58 pm

Hi i was just wondering if you lose third party plug ins like Rob Papen stuff when you upgrade from Logic 8 studio to Logic 9?
I'm asking because I bought them as software downloads and don't have the actual box?
Anyone know if I'll lose the plug ins and my custom presets?
thanks
Austin

you could always do a full time machine backup just before you upgrade just in case/

in fact definitely do this because when I upgraded from 7 to 8 it was buggy, and from OSX 10.5 to 10.6 it was REALLY buggy. anyone who tries to tell you macs don't crash should spend a day in my studio
