Some old spiders I had [pictures]

Post by BLAHBLAHJAH » Sat Jun 19, 2010 12:00 am

Found an old CD of images whilst cleaning out the attic, had but a few of my old spider pictures on it from the days when I ran a creepy business breeding and selling the things. Thought I'd share a few here!

Missing some of my favourite ones, but there's a good shot of one of the lovely blue ones! Wish I could find pictures from when I kept 30 of them together in a 6ft tank

Still rooting about to see if I can find any more, had literally thousands of bugs and stuff

Anyway, I realise it may be either nerdy or scary to some, haters gunna hate

Can't say i would want one myself but i can appreciate the natural beauty of them so to speak. The blue one is really intriguing.

I reallly don't like spiders, but those are some real awesome pictures. Never knew that there was such a thing as blue spiders.

Tried editing to update, I just found a load more

Ayeeee they're really blue! Isn't that much of a surprise though when you consider how the colour offers better camoflauge at night/dusk than black. There are some that take the piss even more with pretty colours, but life's a tnuc; everything is a market and I couldn't afford the 'posh spiders' in my youth

Most of these are from 2000-2002

MAAAOR

found a few more, still is the tip of the ice berg, hoping to find pics of my chameleon and the more fun 'pets' I had

Did you know you can 'hypnotise' tarantulas by placing them on their back like so:

Thanks! Hah yeah I remembered your interest in the blue 'yans!

Going to rummage around for more tomorrow, still some holy grails missing, such as the beast that was 'WAR BASTARD' - it had a 12" leg span and an arse the size of a tennis ball

So what's it like when they're "hypnotized"? Are they completely docile and won't even try to get up, or are they just more relaxed or something?
