We're super excited to bring you this EP of fresh new sounds from Hurtdeer. Swirling amongst a plethora of jittery beats and provocative ambient melodies, deep, booming basslines bubble to the surface, rhythmically grounding the sonic collage. I put the CD in at work the other night, and a co-worker described the sound with the amusing layman's observation of "I feel like I'm tripping listening to this."
My personal favorite out of the bunch is Ilium, with its jazzy piano documenting the track's decent into sheer madness. Beautiful.
