can someone explain WHY people were protesting? I mean I've honestly never heard of G20 till I saw these pictures, and after just kind of skimming some things it seems like the G20 are just a bunch of rich business owners who talk about how to go about spending their money or something? I feel like I'm obviously missing something because surely a bunch of people talking about spending money shouldn't incite violent riots?

Anyways, it's a meeting between 20 economies, whose heads of state typically attend. Also, those 20 economies tend to be the richest 20, ie, they're all crooks

haha, I guess I live in my own world. Every time I visit this one it seems like more stupid shit like this is happening, so I don't really hang around too long.

thanks for explaining though (you too Phigure)! But, I still don't really get why it makes some people so angry..? Is it what they actually discuss in the meetings or just the fact that the people attending them are seen as "crooks"?
