I wanna learn

Where can i learn about music?

My real problem is i cant make something sound good no matter what scale it is on. As im trying to produce, its a bit of a bitch because i always seem to get stuck at the beat. I would love to know how to make a bassline differ from the synthline, and still sound good.

I would also like to know about harmony, melody/chord progression, scales, and all that stuff.

Can anyone refer me to some text that i can read, or some videos to watch? How did you learn about it?

I think ive been fuckin around long enough to start learning some. Thanks guys :)

Agreed with the Music Theory comment. I've been doing a lot more reading on Music Theory. I have 0 music experience and my music theory knowledge consists only of what I learned in Jr High when I played the trumpet for a total of like 3 months before I was kicked out of band class.

With the internet I don't think you really need to get professional tutors/classes to learn this stuff. Sure it helps to have live teachers and It's probably faster, but it can be expensive to. Just look around on google for music theory. There's tons of resources out there.

I've linked this in other similar posts I think, and I'm sure others have as well. But I suggest giving it a good read through, maybe more than 1.

I never learned music theory :o or yeah i did, for 1 year

Just learn an instrument, it doesn't have to be like actual theory for me it's all about feeling your music. I taught myself guitar and piano , and just kinda made up my own music theory in my head which works for me. (on the other hand, collabing with people in a real studio will be harder then...)

Probably why they are spamming. Many people in your position can no longer afford their services.

Point Blank has been warned; the next course of action is entirely up to them and their behavior.

Dude just gtfo. Im sick of reporting your posts. Your not helping anyone, your asking them to pay your extraordinary amounts of money to teach them what alot of people will teach them willingly. 'Just pay me, then Ill help you'...

Your making a joke out of your buisness very slowly.

We all have a product to sell here, but imagine if macc went around telling people to use subvert mastering, if depone told everyone to let him mix thier shit down, and I told everyone to listen to my tunes... and this is all we ever said....

Itd be a fucked up, useless forum. And your beyond a useless member. YOur advertising an overpriced google search in every thread, and only managing to make a joke out of your service in the process.

Now here hell come, with an explanation of how hes selling something great here, not just some youtube videos and feedback from nobody producers.
