after that its
april 8th easter sunday with HEADHUNTER (H.E.N.C.H, Tech Itch)
then
may 12th with the one and only CHEF (RINSE FM)
all these will be held in the universal on sauchihall lane, just off sauchihall street..
hopefully this will put an end to folks mailling me about whats happening with our nights
ill put more info up here as i get it, theres stuff happening the end of april that ill be letting you know about soon
oh and before all that there this...
and dont forget you can catch us on reload every friday

THE MANAGER OF THE UNIVERSAL DID HIS DINGER WHEN HE CAME BACK FROM HOLIDAYS AND FOUND OUT THE SOUNDSYTEM DESTROYED CROCKERY,GLASSES AND FINE WINES IN THE STORAGE ROOM BY SHAKING THEM OUT OF THERE SHELVES, SO WE AINT WELCOME BACK IN THERE NO MORE.
AS WAY OF MAKING IT UP TO YOU WE HAVE BOOKED OUT DOWNSTAIRS IN THE IVY 157-159 NORTH STREET CHARING CROSS FOR APRIL 13TH 9PM TILL 2AM. ENTRY WILL BE KEPT TO A MINIMUM AS THERE IS NO GUEST, AND WE ONLY NEED JEROMES SYSTEM AS THE VENUE IS SO SMALL. SO ITLL BE SOMETHING LIKE £4 ON THE DOOR, FOR THIS YOU GET A BUFFET PUT ON UPSTAIRS TO STAVE OFF THE MUNCHIES
PLAYING AT THIS WILL BE THE ELIMINATORS AND GRAVIOUS
WE ARE HOPING THAT THIS WILL LEAD ON TO A MORE REGULAR THING, MUCH LIKE WE HAD AT BLACKFRIARS, EXCEPT AT THE WEEKEND RATHER THAN A SCHOOL NIGHT, SO GET DOWN AND SHOW SOME SUPPORT.
IVE A GOOD FEELING ABOUT THIS PLACE, ITS VERY INTIMATE, DARK, AND ALLOWS THE SMOKE MACHINE, AND MOST OF ALL, THE OWNER KNOWS AND LIKES DUBSTEP, WHICH IS A FIRST FOR ANY GLASGOW CLUBOWNER!!

what can you do?
the ivy is much more suited to what we do i think, for starters it a basement venue rather than an attic, so this is probably for the best, as to be honest, the universal folks werent really in to it at all, theres more i could say but i wont go into it.
paolo are you the guy with the curly har who was jumping around at the front at n-type? ill try and say hello this time if you make it. and as your coming al the way from dundee for these, let us know and we'll find you a place to crash

You should get jack sparrow to play there! Thanks for the offer of accomodation, I might take you up on that. Yeah I was the wee guy with the mad hair going mad doon the front - that was such a great night. There's a review of it in the skinny by the way in case youse hadn't noticed
