FL timestretching

Post by benjam » Sun Jul 04, 2010 1:19 pm

Hey I was messing around with the time stretch knob on Fl while playing a sample and i got a really cool effect where it slowed down and warped. I tried to automate the knob by clicking edit events and turning it in realtime but it stopped recording when the knob moved. Does anyone know a way around this as ive heard it in countless songs and it would be awesome just before a drop. Cheers and sorry if ive not explained myself very clearly.

The stretch algorithm does not work in real-time. IE you can not automate it.

However you can open up Edison on its mixer channel and record it as you tweak it in real time and then save it. That is the easiest way that I know how to do it with native FL plug ins.
