Mala - Eyez

Why does the version of Eyez which is on the released Return II space EP sound so much different (shitter) than the one that hatcha/Yunx etc all used to drop?

I have been waiting on this tune for (literally) years now & mala comes with this second rate version which sounds like it was produced by a 5 year old.
The rest of the EP is shite as well.

Sorry for the fact that i'm expressing my true feelings here, But when you are gonna make everyone wait years for a track, at least give them the proper version.

Digital Mystikz is ALL about coki for me now, I lost interest in Mala

awful level of production which is utterly shocking from mala.
He usually comes with pure perfection each time

Also the "warm skips" are annoying. Why would anyone want a record that skips
I swear the dubplate version never had this.
WHY?
How come skream/hatcha/mala get to play a version that sounds so much better than the one everyone else can buy.

why? is that different as well?

This promotes people looking on forums/rapidshare ect for leaked & unofficial versions of songs.
People will want the proper version & some will not stop till they get it. Even if it means jacking CD wallets/Record bags.

TBH, who can blame them. Tracks are being advertised in their full glory, But when we come to buy them, we get shitty edited versions which sound inferior compared to what all the main DJ's are playing.

How do people expect the vinyl trade to carry on if the tunes that come on vinyl are not as good as the ones we fall in love with?

Am i the only person who feels this way? (other than the people who are linked with dubplate versions of all these tunes)

Why are you expressing your opinions in this way? How are you ever going to get a serious helpful constructive reply if you start ranting on in a disrespectful way.
The Eyez on the Return ii Space LP is EXACTLY the same as Mala has been playing, there is no different version.
Obviously if you have heard this track over and over again on a mix then you get used to how it sounds from that mix and how the dj has set the equalization levels.
Also bear in mind that your amp, speakers and mixer will not be the same.
I have heard this track on a large quantity of mixes, I have also heard this track at many different venues and at different nights, I am telling you now that there is no difference.

listen to oris jay's mix & then listen to the released one
You will find that the pitch bend synth comes in before the drop on the "dubplate" version & not on the released one

I know this to be true because i remember hearing it coming in when the tune gets dropped live, the synth comes in before the drop

Get ya facts right

& also, If i don't express my feelings this way, how else will i express them

That is what forums are for isn't it?
or are they just so ppl can hate on Borgore/Rusko/other people who release the "dubplate" versions for their fans to buy & play for themselves

I wasn't talking about you expressing an opinion, I was talking about the way you are expressing it, I tried to make that as clear as possible. Why you have to start a whole new thread is beyond me, why not just leave it in the Return ii space thread?

Yeah need audio cos im curious to what you mean. Mind you I do kinda agree because i downloaded a 320 of Skream's Clap Your Hands but when Caspa or whoever drops it live it sounds like a better version and not just because its on better sound system, the song itself sounds better

I've just had a little listen to a youtube dubplate rip of this song and the official release, both are exactly the same.

What the fuck are you on about mate?

oris jay's latest mix (not very recent) is the only one with a good quality audio rip of eyez (mix is 320kbps)
Listen to the track coming in, sounds completely different to the released one.
Also there is a wierd skipping noise all the way thru the released version.

The one on oris jay's mix actually sounds ten times clearer in production than the vinyl does.
Wether this is transitions mastering that is at fault, or mala has done it on purpose i don't know, But all i do know is i was bitterly disappointed when i played this tune, & it was the only tune on the whole EP that i wanted
