On a serious Dubstep tip,.....

I have been pushing Dubstep here in Milwaukee for almost two years now. Unfortunately Milwaukee isn't one of those avenues that Dubstep rocketed off like wildfire on a dry August day. Here, is mostly Chicago House, and Drop Bass Acid Techno. Drum & Bass even has a struggle in this city.

But after this long haul of pushing a new sound to un-excepting ears, it is finally come to a head and is starting to grow with promising speed. I can honestly say, with no doubt in my mind, that I have mostly to thank Brandon S, and the FurtherSound artists. As Chicago was blowing up with Dubstep at venues like Smartbar, Cafe Lura, Kinetic Playground, and even Lava, Milwaukee had not much going on in the Dubstep world.

FurtherSound made it completely possible, and easy to make the transition to where it is now. I give my 120% recommendation to FurtherSound Agency, and it's artists! From Brandon S, to Richie August, Claw, Mark Instinct, Ruckus, DJ Belly, and upcoming RSK on July 23rd, they have helped me pave the way to pipeline a genre that was less than prevalent in my city.

If you are looking to book Dubstep artists, planing events in cooperation with, have questions on bookings artists, (even from outside of the FurtherSound camp) I have found nothing but support, help, and love from FurtherSound.

I LOVE Milwaukee (Hometown). That's weird that dubstep hasn't blown up there yet. I live in Grand Rapids, MI and we've been putting up with promoters bringing Bad Boy Bill, DJ Irene, and the likes for 10 fucking years!!! I've been out on the town in MKE a couple times and the nightlife there KILLS Grand Rapids.

In the last year i've seen Dub just blow the fuck up here. We have weekly dub/bass nights, Festivals downtown with DJ's rinsing dub. Even SuperDre plays dubstep on Top 40 radio (sunday nights @ 12am wsnx.com).
