On Saturday 24 July, Wifey at the Bill Chill House features a UK garage pioneer in B15 Project. Best known for the chart success of 'Girls Like Us', Ian Wallman can take plenty of credit for starting Birmingham's garage scene, beginning with his radio career in the mid-90s. A serious DJ with over 20,000 records in his collection, we're excited to host this rare comeback.
Co-headlining are R1 Ryders, who in the words of one fellow DJ, can be relied on to 'leave holes in the building' - something we witnessed during their stand-out set at our warehouse party last winter. Working with the percussion patterns of UK funky, R1 inject rubberised basslines and old-school adrenaline, as heard on their Burnout EP, one of last year's landmark releases, and their forthcoming Full Throttle EP.
9pm-3am
Free before 1-pm; £5 afterwards
