What is it?
Boom Festival had it's first edition in 1997 and has been setting the bar high ever since. Today Boom is a global phenomenon. Participants from 80+ different countries make this an intercultural gathering where people meet with no prejudice. It started as a music festival and became an intergenerational, interdisciplinary and intercultural gathering. The festival is more than entertainment; it’s an activist statement, linking new models of living based on a connection with nature, arts and culture. Celebrating the ideal of freedom, Boom is pioneering new paths for human beings to develop creatively. Human beings as one and all.

really looking forward to this, Its gonna be mental. And mr. Gasparov forgot to mention all stages have big FUNKTION ONE Soundsystems again, with massive bass kick.
Last Boom (2008) I danced to Goth Trad, Scuba, Jazzstppa, Coldcut,Extrawelt in the sunrise at the beach was magical ..and many more but this time it looks even better the lineup for Groovy Beach .
Cant wait for Ramandaman, Untold and esp. Addison Groove (Footcrab ) a.ka.a Headhunter which I messed at the Fusion festival all the other great music on a warm portuguese night. BOOM

Hey Andy! Thanks man.... 2008 really was a blast but this year it'll be even deadlier!!! I'm very excited with the line-up we have, as I think the selected artists represents a very fresh and creative branch of dubstep/bass music.

Unfortunately Headhunter will NOT be playing @ Groovy Beach and although we would love to have him, he was never on our bill.

You can still buy them on the door but they'll be more expensive and the festival has a maximum capacity of 26.000 people, after which nobody will be allowed in....
