noise continues in massive? help please

Post by selhurstwunderkid » Sun Jul 18, 2010 9:55 pm

Right, can anybody help? I have a riff in massive, in the piano roll of fl studio. It plays when it is triggered in the playlist, but dam it, it carries on playing for the rest of the tune like feedback. Has anyone got any ideas how i can sort this out?

Cheers

Might sound stupid but have you checked your decay/sustain settings etc etc

I''ve had this problem with massive as well. Sorry to say I never found a cure for it though! :(

tried saving the patch as a preset, loading a new instance of massive and loading the preset to make sure its somthing you've done/not done rather than a dodgy instance of massive for whatever reason.

what you mean feedback? You know massive is capable of feedback? It's a design feature.

perhaps its somthing outside of massive. have you accidentally routed massives mixer channel to another channel with delay on it or somthing? orrrr on the channel insert etc

Alas, I've had this problem with albino. You can listen to a track fine, but as soon as you stop it seems to just keep the note held down, although no notes are shown as being down in the DAW and the synth output is still high.

The only thing that worked for me is to play it again and stop it at a different place, then it shuts up. YMMV.

Sounds like a held note somewhere. Are any of your notes overlapping in the piano roll?
