Hi everyone, ive got my first vinyl release coming out at the end of the month "On that tip" on my own label Audio Addict Records. Its taken about two years to sort it all out but its finally all sorted and i hope you all like it. Heres a few new tracks by me as well hope you all enjoy. Big ups to the Dubstep Forum Crew!!
there's not many people making it anymore and i love King Tubby, Augustus Pablo, Lee Perry, Scientist etc
big up...have you utilised the echo chamber much on your release?

Its the same kind of style as clap your hands, baltimore clap etc. If you dont like it mate thats fair enough man. Thanks for having a listen.

I knew he was being sarcastic, as my tracks arent even close to dub. And i know what an echo chamber is. Really didnt think people would be this harsh. Then again i do go on this forum every day, should of learnt by now that the majority of people on here wouldnt like my stuff.

imo, it's not a matter of liking or disliking it, it just sounds way too similar to clap your hands.

Dont think it will sell mate. Not a good choice for a first release.

This is just pretty nasty to be honest theres no need to rip the guy whatever you think of his release, at least give some constructive criticism. Also Hard House Banton and DubBoy seem to have done pretty well in the funky scene with names that arent related to their genre. Should Skream just make screaming tunes or something. Perhaps you just make music with pistons in or is this not as amusing as your criticism?

ahh when i saw people sayin it was similar thought i was thinking maybe the claps like, as in clap your hands and baltimore clap, but this tune sounds almost exactly like clap your hands, it has the same sounds and everything!

And it takes what is a good format changes it and takes away the all out aggression of clap your hand imo which at times can be a bit over the top

Wow, i agree your first tune sounds a lot like "clap your hands"... Strange...
Anyway, your music is not my cup of tea, but good luck.
Also, on the dub thing: i'm the first being annoyed with all those people calling dubstep "dub", but here it's an artist name. I know their music is more related to King Tubby's music than Dub Kid's musc is, but i don't see you criticising Selector Dub U, U Dub or Dub Child for not making/mixing straight dub music

sorry i didnt even listen...i just thought it was funny that he was called dub boy...like he was a boy that made dub you can rely on to bun to..
just seemed a rather unimagnative name which tends to mean only one thing about the music
checked out the tunes and theyre about as far from dub as you can get...and that tune does indeed sound exactly like clap your hands by skream
personally my stuff is gonna be different to whats already out there when it finally drops and im not gonna spam it all over here either...there will just be a link to the release when its pressed...i dont see the point in posting up for feedback but thats me....if its good then i know its good and don't need anyones opinion beforehand
and the name Pistonsbeneath is totally ambiguous which is what I was going for...it's also ORIGINAL
