Are they worth getting? What do you get/best one to get?

Just get the cheapest one for more downloading and better embedding and limitless sets.

adding the same tune to multiple groups makes it worth it imo.

no question. the cheapest one is cheap and probably tripled my plays, for whatever that's worth (not much really).

cheapest one
replacing tracks = good
adding to unlimited groups = good
more downloads = good
20 euros a year, you can find that on the floor in a day or two

20 euros a year is nothing.

You get 1000 downloads if you choose that option. It's worth it for me as a label at least. Depends on how you use it.

I got the cheapest one, for the above mentioned reasons. It seems worth it IMO, particularly for the groups and the re-uploads. Some of the stats are interesting too, although not really nessessary as I don't have plans to take over the world. THey would be interesting for labels though.

I'm gonna get the cheapest one when I'm flusher. Totally skint atm. 75 groups though; I'd only need around 20 and still be happy.,

You can send your tracks to public groups like the 'Dubstep Forum Group' or 'Future Underground Break Pop Group' and it's a better way of getting your tunes heard rather than just spamming people to come and listen to your tracks.

Do people follow those groups? I never have, just follow people and see who they comment on, then follow those people etc. Good way to find amazing music.

seems worth it to me.
I'm wondering about promotion to.
Every single service I find for promotion/advertising either is a scam, is just bots so it doesn't mean any REAL plays, or requires you to do all of the leg work yourself in which case why would you even bother paying for the service?
Anyways,
does anyone know if any of the premium accounts offer promotion/advertising?
@amphibian
more than 2 melodies at once does not make you a genius at all.
I've put up to and above 19 individual melodies on songs before and I'm no genius.
Advanced music theory isn't that hard.
When you delve into the 7th, 9th, 11th, and 13th chord,
break them down by eliminating unnecessary notes like the 3rd,
and are well versed in chord inversions/voice leading
the amount of melodies you can put on a song is only limited by your imagination and your frequency response

Don't be afraid to try putting more melodies on a song.
The more the better

Necro posting ftw.
Anyway, as far as I can see there is no promotion or advertising with the premium accounts. The different levels just offer more time and downloads with access to more detailed statistics on plays and downloads and stuff. The only thing that sucks about it is both my credit card company and my bank have blocked all UK transactions so now I can't pay for any of the soundcloud services. Which is really starting to get on my nerves.

Can't you use paypal or something or do they not allow it?
I have Solo/lite or whatever it's called, the 1000 download cap one. It's worth the money for the downloads but other than that I don't know. I don't see sharing with groups making any difference but maybe Ive got the wrong ones, dunno.
