Hooking up a turntable

You guys,,
Just tried to hook up my turntable to my audio interface. And the interface goes into the PC via USB. Coming out of the turntable is a plug and two wires, one with a red jack and one with a white jack. I tried putting them into the back of the interface, but doesnt work,
If someone could help, that would be greatly appreciated
