Last week was intense and we thank you all from the bottom of our pharynx for coming out. Ritual is meaningless without all of the friendly faces and bright smiles that fill up a dingy bar, and give it vibrant color. Josh from Audio Bomb is 1 year closer to being an old man this Thursday, so make sure you come out and show him love. We are trying to get a big ass cake so we can get a sugar high from synthetic frosting ingredients. Wedge:
Wedge is a dubstep producer with a dark and sinister edge. Drawing on a wide range of menacing atmospherics, haunting sonic soundscapes, chest rattling sub bass, and squelchy LFO frequencies, Wedge produces a journey into the depth of the depraved. His music encompasses a wide range of influences from glitch, techno, dub, 80’s electro, hip hop, metal, and obscure 70’s horror movies. His music is as equally subversive and enthralling to listen to on headphones, as it is to skank hard to in the rave.

Since then Wedge has played at some of the biggest events in the country and abroad including FWD, Blowpop, Glade Festival, Freak Camp, Sonic Warfare, Technicality, Drive By, Run, Shit the bed, Penguin Dance, Just Jack, and HENCH (to name but a few), and recently headlined at Sziget festival Hungary in front a of 3000 strong crowd hosted by the Foreign Beggors and MC Jakes.

Wedge has had many plays from the likes of Maryanne Hobbs, Mike Paradinas (Planet Mu), Appleblim, Shackleton, Distance, Darkside, HENCH crew, Joker, Skream, N-type, Hyjack, Chef, Beezy, Pinch, Peverelist, Gemmy, Starky, Djunya, Chasing Shaddows, High Rankin, and recently The Foreign Beggors. Wedge also features on the Maryanne Hobbs Bristol rise up special which aired on Radio 1 in December 2008.

Wedge is the label owner of ‘If Symptoms Persist Recordings’ (Distro - S.t Holdings) which is set to drop in shops in October 2009. The first release on the label will be Wedge and Shadz ‘Running Away’, with a Guido rmx on the flip. Look out for the music video on MTV sponsored by Converse Allstars.

www.Sub.fm is now the home of Wedges hugely successful radio show which features regular guests from the Bristol dubstep scene.

D-Queue:
Upcoming Dubstep producer and DJ from Dallas, TX, 21 year old d-Queue (David Quinones) has been producing for only a little under a year, and has already gained international recognition as a force to be reckoned with in the underground flow. Tunes like “Haha,” “Akirastep,” and “Taboo” have shown that this producer can melt faces with intense morphing bass and technical percussive assaults. His diversity toward the calmer side of Dubstep shows through tunes like “You’ve Got Mail” and “Hit”. Reaching peak positions on the Juno (#15) and Digital-Tunes (#2) charts with his debut release, the Hit EP, you can tell that this new producer was only getting started. Upon his second release on The Out of Body Experience EP, he achieved the #1 selling spot with "Jesus Loves Dubstep" on BeatsDigital. His third release, Vilebad, is set to hit digital stores in June 2010, and while getting support and acclaim from influences like Diesel, Depone, Fabian, Misshin, Fuzz2k, Shatterfreak, Annias, Cottonmouth, as well as many more, you can expect to hear much more from this newcomer!

Audio Bomb:
AudioBomb started in 2007 in the CA Bay Area with Chris Rice as a live PA/ electronic hardware performer. As Chris engaged his engineering and producing skills the project was soon accompanied by friend and excellent musician Josh Small (Sasstrodomus). This duo immediately began absorbing one another’s knowledge and is now producing club banging originals and remixes of all your old school favorites‼‼
