There are now as many Sicknote mixes as there are Star Trek films, how about that? This one's from young Damu, out of Nottingham and now living in Manchester - we gave him his first ever DJ set back in February and he hasn't stopped since then, relentlessly crafting excellent tunes - notionally "Funky", yet drawing influences from a wide range of sources from jazz to jungle. He's already attracted the attentions of several labels, and his debut 12" should be out in the next couple of months on Swing & Skip Audio. This mix is a banger, get on it!
