EDIT: *sigh* depending on which noise you mean it sounds like it's either just a standard lfo wobble type affair with a lot of resonance or a saw type swipe that's been bounced and reversed. Either way they sound like they've been resampled and layered/tweaked/processed with effects etc etc...oh just go read the thread I linked

i just discovered a good technique a couple days ago for getting that screaming doctor p lead and i'll share it here:
what you will need:
any synth with formant additive synthesis, at least 3 oscilators and some odd or weird waveforms to add those upper harmonics.
believe it or not, fm is not required in my experience, but you can use it.
steps:
set the first osc to a nice formant with minimal detune, and tune this down -12 semitone
make the second osc +24 semitones, and make it an odd waveform.
the third osc will simply provide a sub bass layer at -24 to add that subby bass.
use whichever waveform you'd like.

i tried experimenting with adding frequency modulation, but i feel like the doctor p sound is generally not created using fm.
adding glide or portamentation gives the bassline a nice slide between each note.
add your preference of light bitcrushing, wave shaper, and distortion to taste.

it's a very simple patch, i hope this helps.

i'd like to hear some results op, post them up!

Yea it's pretty easy to do in Massive. Formant filter and Saw wave. But you can do alot of other things to it after you get the basic idea down.

Lol, this forum has got into such a state that even when someone doesn't ask how to make a formant filter/high mid yoyoyoy type sound most of the replies still answer that question instead...

Stop talking shit please.

Everyone learns by influence, imitation and example.. thats how "learning" works. you dont become a musician having not admired or imitated someone else to an extent to want to sound like them.
And as the original poster above attempts to get close to Bar9's sound from the information he does know will in turn create something a bit different but probably equally as good.
