I know, but it's been overly hyped and its by datsik, so that makes it overly sick. imo

No dubstep producer has been hyped if you compare it to modern day top 40 bullocks.
Don't really like the track, went off when he dropped it in Amsterdam though.

yeh this is coool, one thing i don't get with dubstep is that people hate on excision for making dark sounds when he does the style of say noisia or spor in D&b, noisia are amazing and make dirty dark basslines and people love them for it, however people hate on excision for doing the same thing.. doesnt make sense..

edit: i know this tunes by datsik i was just pointing something out

excision is so much different to like funtcase for example, wouldnt class them as the same style at all... excision is dark.

im just glad he used that synth he built for "Gecko" in another track. So nasty.

however.. I definitely agree that Datsik and Excision are not changing up their style at all. Whether that is a good thing or a bad thing depends on if you: A) like their style in the first place and B) think that it's a producer's job to "advance" when theyre on to something that people like.

i must say some of datsik is hit and miss, but then some of it just kills it (like this, and stuff like texx mars, etc, etc)

any one hatin on 'apples' is a wasteman

theyre doing a track with Evol intent and someone else, and datsik did Southpaw, which was at almost halftime dnb tempo

My bad, i didnt have my coffee this morning. the tempo of this tune is 74 (or 148). which in my uncaffeinated state sounded like 86 or something (yeah i know 74 is not "drumstep tempo.")

Don't worry, I'm not an idiot.

"drumstep" is fucking retarded

its just drum and bass

with different drum sequencing

gay

excision has loads of faster bpm tunes.

I'm not too sure of what this sites opinion is of Datsik and Excision, but personally - I love them both. They make the tunes that make you go nuts when played live, and yes they do sound rather samey, they still bang to fuck. Also, who DOESN'T like Excisions Shambhala mixes? They are insane.
