The UK Government is about to propose restrictions on photography in
public places which could make street photography and documentary
photography against the law. There is a petition on the Downing Street
website against the Government's proposals to restrict the use of
photography in public areas. Please sign the petition now and forward

yeah we had a chat about this in our lecture yesterday, what they're intending to do is force photographers to apply for ID cards to allow them to photograph in public. i'm not sure on their intended restrictions, i guess they cant stop tourists taking photos on their digicams on phones... can they??
crazy stuff anyway. sign the thing
