I hate to be "that guy"... but if you don't have good hi hat samples, they are the easiest of ANY sample to make yourself.
* jingle keys
* rip paper
* make your own shaker with rice & a pill bottle, then put it through a ring modulator
* scrub sandpaper with a toothbrush
etc etc

More common than not hi hat samples sound shit just through having poorly interacting release and sustain settings... Try modulating those on a few of the ones ya got and see if it improves it
Good starting point for lazy!

Well, that is nice. I am lazy too, but decided to get off my ass for 2 seconds to help someone who could help themselves if they only took 2 seconds to put in the effort.
Glad to know my time wasn't wasted.
Oh wait.
It was.

Made hats from all of them but that last one. Another one of my faves was tinfoil stretched over a pastic bowl then tapped with a pencil.

Nah not quite, gave me a couple of good ideas for things to sample tommorow! I lack the extreme laziness of the OP..

Ah, come on.. I've read countless extracts where even the pro's will admit to being a bit lazy at times. I'm sure it takes some kind of genius to be 100% commited 100% of the time...
