Hey everyone,

I know some of you will be interested in this :)

Easy

I'm a producer / engineer, in a professional studio in North London, where I have lots of fun bringing my clients' ideas to life. (http://alturl.com/25db4)

Every month I'm trying to do my bit for the scene by _giving away a day at the studio_ to someone who really deserves it.

All you have to do to win it is write an email telling me what you'd like to do with the studio time. I pick a favourite answer from each month's entries and book a session in with that person right away, no catches. (challenge€hattrixx.co.uk, fix the €, obviously)

Your email can be:

* Your idea for a track:
Just describe what kind of elements you'd put in there,
we'll spend the day putting the track together (any style).

* What you'd like to learn:
Describe what you'd like to learn to do, then tell me how
you'll use your new skills in future productions.

I'm looking for people who are perhaps creative, ambitious, original, interesting, or maybe just funny. All levels of experience welcome. Have a go, you never know who I'll pick. Please spread the word for me.

Best of luck.

Owen...

P.S. Clients include a number of big acts, such as Judge Jules, Simon Belofsky (of Sonique fame) and others.

P.P.S. Kit list boasts analogue synths and effects units.

P.P.P.S. I've only done one give-away session so far (last month) and the track is already signed.

Here's a quick update from Hattrixx :)

Since my original message last month I've had lots of fun reading the new entries that have come in. There were many great submissions and I think I've picked the winner (I've only just emailed the person for confirmation).

A few people asked questions about my background, kitlist and so on. Please see the links at the bottom.

Just a few words of general advice for entrants:

* It's not essential, but humour helps.

* You don't need an idea for a track AND what you'd like to learn, either or will do.

* You can only enter once a month, but you can enter monthly (enter this month to win a session next month).

* Regarding originality: you don't have to reinvent the wheel, but I'm not so interested in covers / rips / remixes.

Again, good luck! Nice one for spreading the word.
