Banoffee Curd depreciation thread

i like bananas, i like toffee, i like lemon curd... so i think to myself, as i browse the shelfs of my local international cheese centre, 'OH MY FUCKIN DAYS. BANOFFEE CURD. COULD MY DAY GET ANY SICKER?'
of COURSE i bought the banoffee curd, thinking - as you may imagine that i would be buying a little pot of heavenly goodness to enjoy for weeks to come. HOWEVER... upon returning to my dwelling, throwing a maple pancake in the toaster and spreading a thick layer of banoffee curd over the top of it... i discovered to my HORROR... THAT BANOFFEE CURD IS NOT GOOD. NOT GOOD AT ALL

i ALWAYS have a jar of this in this in me fridge, its the bollocks, put it on some ice cream.

hang on, im talkin bout caramel, you talkin bout curd-that does sound mingin!
get some of the caramel stuff, you can spread it anywhere an its delish, you wont be disapointed

lol nah there's no lemon. just the curd part of lemon curd. i'm not actually sure what curd is. grand asked me yesterday and i didn't have an answer. i HATE not having a smart arse answer.

A curd is sort of like a custard, but the liquid component of the recipe is juice instead of milk or cream.

I like banana, I like toffee, I DON'T like Banoffee.
Its way to sweet for my liking.
Makes my teeth mong out.
But on another note. Recently pertroling through marks and sparks at lunch time come apon thise old school delights which are Sour boiled sweets with sherbet in the middle.
My lord have mercy i munched the entire pack in 20 minutes and made my face spaz out over and over.

build a bonfire/
put bananas on top/
put banoffee in the middle/
and we'll burn the fuckin lot!
