looks shit this year, not that its particularly good other years, but they're limiting the amount of booze you can bring in? fuck that.

if they wanna stop people burning shit then they need to provide stuff to do past midnight, people aint gonna just go to sleep.

meh i don't drink anymore anyway.

I'm hoping to get in half an oz and 3g of K, but need a plan.

I've always gone with an early bird ticket and they've never searched me, but i had the same theory about Download and i got searched this year and managed to sneak the K in but got an 1/8th nabbed.

Don't wanna get caught with half as that might be their 'limit' to not letting people in which would be waste.

other than the train station they wont have dogs (well never in the 3 years i went) so just well hidden.

My advice would be to buy some Pringles/pot noddle/something similar stick stuff in there then glue lid back on.

First time in 6 years I'm not going because the line-up's not really worth it, none of my mates are going either and some of them have been going like 9 years straight!

swear i replied to this thread!

im a local, been going for years.

come into reading west, not only is it closer to the site, its a tiny station and less bate. the nearest entrance to that (orange) is also less bate. to get from reading to reading west go to platform 2 at reading station and all the trains from there go through there. every 10 mins or so.

anybody need tickets give us a shout we got some for sale. will be cash in hand on the day meeting in person shizzle. day or weekend

any festival that herds you around and separates off camping and arena section and limits your movements between them can go fuck themselves.

yeah, that's the one really fucking annoying thing about reading, it's still possible to get booze into the stage area but you have to queue a bit sometimes, it's cos of the sat/sun pass thing.

i think this is better than other years. im watching queens of the stone age, giggs, cypress hill, magnetic man and fourtet. probably rusko as well just for the sake of it.

Tripe festivals imho. Overpriced but maybe thats cause I'd probably only like 1-2 bands playing.
