All I can really think about are the tastiest of microphones (and a million of em) plus every pre-amp and compressor under the sun.
Like that former thread where people created a universe of sounds out of just an 808 kick... I know from over 10 years doing this, I can make almost any sound out of anything. What I REALLY want - is a way to make the sound sound tastier. Sometimes I want to drench a sound in maple syrup... sometimes I want it crispy... but I want it all to be controlled from my mics, pre-amps, compressors, and other dynamic nastiness... If I got good enough mics, I will always have the sounds on hand I need.

this man knows the score
would like to have some better monitors and a monitor control station for cross referencing
wouldn't mind having some more outboard analog gear though and maybe some fancy control surfaces
synths well, i can never get enough analog goodness
k now back to integrating my c64 into cubase

i know i don't really need any more gear my setup is fairly decent. it is pretty minamal, but has all i need. what i should be working on is seeing tracks to the end, instead of start new ones. but i just can't stop thinking about analog synths.
in my dreams i would love to own a drum kit with mics & room, and have a massive analog modular synth.

I can't wait for elektrons new box, the octotrack. The performance possibilities blow my mind.
3ZA, making music is amazingly fun. every sound that comes out is pure quality, it hardly needs any processing to sound perfect. I think analoghaven has the Kraftzwerg in stock.
