Hello folks,
I'm hoping someone out there can help me, I'm trying to figure out how to make this kinda funky wavy synth sound similar to the one used by Antiserum and 12th Planet in their tune 'Purple & Gold' as well as many many other Dubstep tunes.I've tried searching Google but without the proper vocab its near impossible,so if there's already another post on this subject (which I suspect there may be), please just refer me to it and I apologize for regurgitating the same topic again
Here's a link to the the tune in case you dont know it:

Hopefully a more skilled producer than I can help me out, it would be much appreciated, and would be happy to return the favour in any way that I can

Thanks

I forgot to mention that its the main synth that starts right off the bat, the wavy, almost housey synth, I'm guessing it has something to do with the Osc or maybe portomento but experimenting has resulted in lame copy at best, I don't want to copy per-se, I just want to learn the technique so I can elaborate on it in my own way ...I use massive mostly but I also use Rob Papen's Albino, Predator, and Blue Synths. If you can tell me how to make this sound using one of these synths or perhaps the Subtractor or Malstrom synths in Reason 2.5 it would help a lot

please HELP!!!! lol

Next time you have a "How to make this sound" problem post it here
http://www.dubstepforum.com/topic91539.html
The synth sounds pretty simple; saw wave with an lfo on the pitch (just a little bit to get that wonky sound) I don't use massive or reason but it should be pretty easy in any synth

If anyone's got a Patch that's like or similar to it, that would be the most help, just cause I'm totally a visual learner.

I don't have any patches for it but if you're using blue, set osc A to a saw wave then click on the LFO tab and then select vibrato set the amount fairly low and the speed fairly high, you should be able to hear that wonky sound straight away then just adjust to your taste.

Sweet, thanks a bunch

it totally works to get the wavy wonky sound, but any ideas on the main synth sound, saw wave isn't doing it, spose i'll have to experiment, thanks for getting me this far anyway, cheers man
