Mount Kimbie live show is a thing to experience

I experienced their live show yesterday at strøm festival in Copenhagen. It was one of the cooler things i've experienced. I loved it even though it's not usually my style. Anybody else been to their shows? What are your thoughts?

I half loved and was half disappointed with their show in notts a while ago. Pretty sure that was the very early days of their performance though, and I think it was a crooks & lovers showcase rather than a full live show of whatever material they wanted to play.

Yeah i agree, but saw them more recently in Brighton at the Great Escape. It just felt disjointed and nowhere as gorgeous as their studio productions.

I appreciate that it's hard to re-create that sort of thing live with only a few guys, but didn't really get a groove on for a while at which point the crowd were growing tired of just sparse sonics!

I was at the Strøm show myself... hej mand:). Great experience and nice with the fireworks towards the end!

this is really high on my to-do list. The live reciordings i've heard have been lush. Would love to see them with James Blake on the vocals too

I got back from Lowlands festival yesterday. Mount Kimbie was sick, too bad they played at 1 in the morning.
Their live show is definitely worth the trip/money.
